We know you watch in horror as disasters fill the news — hurricanes, fires, floods, tornadoes, etc.– and you want to help.
But you think… “where could I show up to lend a hand and/or what could I give that would make a difference?
The needs are massive… but it’s not always so simple to know what to do…
Here's the Bad News...
Sometimes well-meaning people make the situation worse.
People want to be helpful, but often donate mountains of items that end up piled on the ground. They feel better that they gave, but do not think about the fact that a person who has lost their home has no where to put these things.
So far we have served in Texas, California, North Carolina, Nebraska, and Michigan. We have seen this pattern repeat.

In addition, after the news stops shining a spotlight on the crisis, awareness fades and survivors are often forgotten.
We have personally met people just like you who are…
- living in homes with mold on their walls and furniture 2 years after a disaster
- spending winters in a gutted house without internal walls or a kitchen
- sleeping on an air mattress indefinely
- living displaced from their home for years
Sadly, some families are even taken advantage of by scammers who promise a service, take money and then never show up. Uggh!!!

As a prayer partner, you’ll receive our prayer letters via e-mail that share what is really happening as we serve in places devastated by disaster. We’ll also share with you incredible stories of restoration and valuable insights into what actually helps people recover.
2. Send our family
You can send us into places hit by disaster to help mobilize thousands of people to serve!
3. Serve for a Week
Gather a group from your church and travel to one of our Crisis Response sites right here in the US. You’ll be given all the tools and training to pick up right where the team before you left off. As a result, you’ll be part of a chain of teams literally putting the pieces of a families’ home back together… and at the same time you will be sharing the love of Christ with families in a way that will touch their lives forever.
Set goals so big that unless God helps you, you will be a miserable failure.
